Sunday Tassels

Here's what I did today. Spent the whole Sunday morning and afternoon at home. It's been 2 months now since my last blog about these hand made bling blings yes, I'll start to blog again. I don't know why I came out with that one though but I'm happy I have something to wear later. #offtochurch

Gold Dangling Chain Tassel

I really thought this one is easy to make, but heck no. Nonetheless, this is one of my favorites among the necklaces I made. It's simple yet elegant. I'll be doing more of this soon.

Orange Dangling Earring

 

After days of not posting and making some artsy fartsy crafts, finally I have made something again.

I used orange colored Beads to match the orange colored feathers.

Gold + Orange = perfect combination for Summer.

Paper-Beads-in-Safety-Pin necklace

 Pardon my room's wall color.

I cut old magazines just to end up with that one. It is simple and easy. You just have to have same size safety pins. I also added beads just for the heck of it. I think I can pair that with plain white t-shirt. you think?

 Today, I made this turquoise-colored-with-dark-brown-chain earring (it's hard to name things).  It's easy to make also not time consuming.

Safety Pin Bead Bracelet

I created this months ago. I saw one like this in one of the books I read when I made tambay to Fully Booked SM North Edsa. I can't find gold-colored safety pin. I want it to be more "Egyptian" look but I think they don't sell big gold-colored pins anymore. Nevertheless, It's beautiful with colour silver.

By the way, it looks like it's heavy but it's not.

Pink Tassel Earring

Remember the one I blogged days ago? haha. 

 

It was only now that I made its pair. And my apologies for the delay. One and a half hour before we'll leave for Baguio, it came to my mind to do something productive while waiting for the people to wake up. Without having second thoughts, I sat on my NEW working chair and hoped that I can finish this earring before we will leave. And ta-dah,  I spent only 15 minutes to do this. By the way, I accidentally cut the other one short so to make it equal, obviously, I have to cut the other one short also. So that's it. I already have something to wear for the wedding.

Since I already packed my camera. I only used my laptop's camera for the shots.

Green + Yellow Braided bracelet

I don't know what shade of green that is. haha. Basta it's green.

By the way, here are the pictures of what I did today.

 

I used threads from my collection. A chain and a Paper clip for the lock to make it unique and hassle-less :)) I will make more of this when I get home from Baguio. And I'm selling it also for 99php. Hope you like it!

I really like the color. Perfect for summer and for mahinhin look. I can't make the other one tonight because my eyes can't take it anymore (haha) that's why it has no pair.  :))

What is Summer

Without Bright Colours? 

I made a goal to post something tonight. I made TWO different DIYs in the span of 4 hours. 

I first made a pair of earrings and it is ORANGE.

I made an Orange version. :D I am loving orange because it's summer! :)

I also made a bracelet which is out of my plan. I was about to do a necklace but I saw the threads so I shifted my attention and tried to do this.

I did lots of trials and errors before I came out with this one.

I spent almost 3 hours for this. It's quite confusing (inaantok na kasi ako) but still, because I have a goal, I decided to finish it.

It's pass 2 in the morning and My eyes are giving up. Goodnight! :)

Turquoise and Black

I was sitting on my "working chair" staring at my DIYs when I suddenly thought of making a new pair of earrings. I made the shorter one last Saturday night and I already wore it last Sunday to add some accessories to my outfit. Last night (Monday) It came across my mind to do another pair of earrings, and that is the longer version of the shorter one =))

Firsts

Earrings. I made the turquoise  one with a crystal on top for my mom.

The Gold one is the first of all the jewelries I made. The orange tassel and the yellow feather are summer inspired :)

Bracelets. I saw my jar full of buttons so I thought of making there for fun. 

Necklace. A Bubbles inspired tassel necklace. It's already SUMMER. :)

Those were my firsts. I made some a while ago and will publish it tomorrow. Me is excited.

Because I was inspired by my discipler, ate mimi I also thought of creating a NEW blog site not for personal use but for this new found love of mine, ARTS. And there you go. Since I am so much loving arts, crafts and DIYs right now, I will post everything I will make here. I hope this passion I have now for arts will remain until forever.
